In-Network Insurance (Montana Clients Only): I am in-network with the following providers for clients residing in Montana.
Out-of-Network (OON) Coverage: If I am not in-network with your specific insurance, you may still be eligible for Out-of-Network benefits. I am happy to provide you with a monthly receipt (called a "Superbill") that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. Please contact your insurance provider directly to learn about your out-of-network mental health benefits.
Arizona Clients: At this time, services for clients in Arizona are private pay (cash pay) only. No insurance is accepted for Arizona residents at this time. I accept all major credit cards, as well as HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards.

If you plan to use insurance, your sessions may be fully or partially covered depending on your specific plan. Because every plan is different, I strongly recommend calling the member services number on the back of your insurance card before our first session to verify your benefits.
Here is a quick list of questions you can ask them:
Do I have outpatient mental health/behavioral health benefits?
Do I have a deductible to meet before my benefits kick in? If so, how much is it, and how much have I met so far?
What is my copay or coinsurance amount per therapy session?
Is there a limit on how many therapy sessions are covered per year?
Do I have out-of-network benefits for mental health?
A Note on Out-of-Network Reimbursement: If I am not in-network with your insurance company, I am happy to provide you with a monthly "Superbill" (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurer for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Please verify with your insurance provider if they accept Superbills for out-of-network mental health services.

To keep things simple and convenient, all billing is handled securely and automatically.
Accepted Payments: I accept all major credit cards, as well as HSA (Health Savings Account) and FSA (Flexible Spending Account) cards. Please note that cash, checks, and digital payment apps (like Venmo) are not accepted.
When Payment is Due: Payment is due in full at the time of your session.
Card on File: For your convenience, a credit card is kept securely on file and charged automatically after each session. Your card information is fully encrypted and stored in a HIPAA-compliant system for your absolute safety and privacy.

Your session time is reserved exclusively for you. Because that time is set aside for your care, I request at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed appointments, will be charged the standard session fee of $180. Please note that insurance companies do not cover fees for missed sessions; this is an out-of-pocket charge.
Grace for Emergencies: I understand that life happens. Exceptions to this fee may be made for sudden illness, emergencies, severe weather, or prior arrangements—provided you reach out to me before your scheduled session time begins.
Consistent Attendance: Therapy works best when it is consistent. If frequent cancellations become a pattern, we will work together to adjust your scheduling to better fit your current needs.

I believe in absolute financial transparency, and there are never any hidden fees in my practice. Under the law, you are protected from unexpected medical bills.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate:
Who it is for: Under the law, healthcare providers need to give clients who do not have insurance, or who are choosing not to use their insurance, an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
Your Right: You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
When to ask: You can ask your healthcare provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
Disputing a Bill: If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, please refer to your estimate or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
