I’m here for you.
I tailor my therapy to you. Because everyone’s personalities are different, I customize my approaches to fit your specific needs. My sessions offer compassion and support, while building trust. I also love using creative tools and visualization to help you gain clarity, think differently, and make real changes.
While I’m happy to just listen, I prefer to be engaged - asking questions, validating your emotions, challenging your thoughts, and helping you to process more clearly. My goal is to create a comfortable, respectful space where you are free to be yourself.
Did you know that good teletherapy works just as well, if not better than in person? It’s awesome! You can join our session from anywhere that is not distracting. Feel free to snuggle on the couch with your pet, sit by the fire, hang out in your office or go for a walk during our sessions.
the courage to make a change
We all hit moments that feel overwhelming or lonely, even when we’re trying our best. I’m here to support individuals, couples, and parents through those tough times.
Our sessions are geared to help you unpack what’s going on, breathe a little easier, and make sense of things. We’ll explore simple tools that help you feel more grounded - and build the strength, freedom, and courage to make the changes that will stick.

Every relationship has its rough patches and can feel like endless negative cycles. I work with couples to improve communication and listening, rebuild trust, re-discover intimacy and deepen emotional connection. Whether you're navigating a crisis or simply feeling stuck in old patterns, our work will help you understand each other more fully and move forward as a couple, not just partners or roommates.

Big changes - career shifts, divorce, loss, moving, starting over, empty nesting, aging parents - can leave you feeling absolutely lost. I help clients navigate life’s transitions with clarity, self-compassion, and renewed purpose. This work often involves grieving or letting go of the past, connecting with your current values and exploring who you are now, as well as who you would like to be moving forward.

My approach is based on the individual needs of each family dynamic and utilizes a balanced authoritative parenting approach - where parents set clear expectations and boundaries while also being responsive to their child’s needs and emotions

Are you another therapist or other healthcare professional?
Are you a counselor/mental health professional interested in learning Sand Tray therapy?
I offer both Introduction and Intermediate Sand Tray Therapy workshops in person at my Belgrade Montana office location.
Sandtray Therapyis a powerful, experiential approach that helps clients express thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may be difficult to put into words. Using miniature figures, symbols, and a tray of sand, clients create visual scenes that reflect their inner world—often revealing themes, strengths, and healing pathways that traditional talk therapy may miss. Originally developed in the 1950s, sandtray has evolved into an evidence-informed modality used worldwide. This method is gentle, engaging, and effective across ages and diagnoses, making it a valuable tool for pre-licensed and licensed counselors and social workers seeking deeper, client-centered interventions.
